Brief BIO
Josh Driver is an American singer, songwriter and entrepreneur. Born in Memphis, TN he got his professional start in music singing weekly gigs at Memphis area bars and restaurants from 2005 to 2009 while working his way through college. Josh graduated from University of Memphis in 2010.
Josh’s first break through was making it to "Round 4 - Hollywood Week" of AMERICAN IDOL 2007. This soon set him on a journey to leave Tennessee short term.
In 2009, Josh made a quick move to Los Angles, CA, where he was cast in some movies and TV shows like "Grey's Anatomy", "Scrubs", "Melrose Place (2009)," "Iron Man 2", and "Valentines Day". He was also the first host on the pilot program talk show for "Twitter" in 2009. Josh moved back to Memphis in November 2009 to complete college and be closer to family/friends. He knew L.A. was not "for him".
In early 2012, Josh made the leap to move to Nashville, TN. He started working in Vacation real estate and soon released his a EP (extended play) album "Fulfilling Promises - Part 1", which was released 4-14-2012. Josh has since publicly criticized his performance on the "Fulfilling Promises" album and feels it wasn't his best work.
From 2013 to 2017 Josh took a break from fully professionally pushing his music career focusing more on "day job" and other business ventures where his has had much success. During these years Josh has become Top 3 in the world in his sales category. However working alot pulled him from focusing on his music.
In 2015, Josh married Hayley Townsend. They reside near Franklin, TN. Hayley is a singer and professional stage performer from the Smoky Mountains in east Tennessee. Hayley will duet on the new album "Seven" released (2019).
New Years Eve 2017 Josh decided it would be his new year commitment to re-focus on his music and write at least 7 new songs. Being that music had been his passion since his early teen years Josh new the time is now. He took the next year and wrote 8 new songs. Josh ended up choosing 6 of the 8 songs and partially re-wrote his well received song "Wine Down" that he wrote in 2012. Seven songs was released on the album "Seven" in April 2019. Josh's son Ridge was born this same year.
In late 2020 after years of being told "You should write a book". Josh said OK! And began writing a self-help book. Josh's debut book "You're Gonna Die Soon" was released Fall of 2022. This has gained Josh a new range of fans and have truly inspired normal people to do abnormal things!
